New Recruiter Tool
Candidate Profile Includes Video!
Interview on Demand Logo
Recruiters are always looking for a cost effective method to present promising candidates to their client companies. And more importantly, they are searching for a way to differentiate their services and their candidates from the competition. Ultimately, this presentation leads to placements. Interview on Demand’s new Candidate Profile will present the candidates’ resume, video interview and summary (selling summary - why the client company should consider this candidate) on one page. Here is what it looks like:

Example Profile

To present the candidate profile, the recruiter just sends the hiring manager a link! Hiring managers haven’t even imagined the ability to have the resume and video of the prospective candidate available on one page! Here is a link to the example profile:

Organizing Your Email with Outlook
Job Machine LogoWith a daily average fluctuating between 500 and 700 new messages in my Outlook, Auto responders, Junk Mail and Filtering are simply survival tools for me.

Consider that in many industry sectors job seekers far prefer to utilize their professional network to make personal contacts as they explore new career opportunities rather than "apply online." Today’s jobseeker is web savvy, armed with knowledge of the Internet and likes to use that little old "Send" button frequently.

How to Interview 1000 People in 1 Day
Visit the Interview on Demand webiste and see how it works
Well, perhaps your needs are slightly less than 1000 in a day, but the reality is that you could interview more than 1000 people with new Video Interviewing technology from companies like Interview on Demand.  This technology removes the practical limitations that we deal with every day such as too many miles, scheduling conflicts, limited expense budgets and…oh yes…there are only 24 hours in any given day!

For many critical positions, this system is the perfect solution to ever increasing demands to find the best people (view sample interview).

Six Degrees from Talent
Visit Dave's blgo - Six degrees from DaveBy Dave Mendoza
Recruiters are challenged on many fronts, from narrow job specs to the reality of a decreasing labor pool. It’s is now commonplace for recruiters to seek alternatives to their tired resume database. One way to enhance your talent pipeline is by broadening your outreach efforts. A warm referral is good, but an even better referral is from a contact you know and trust. What if you could replicate that result with an audience of potentially hundreds, if not thousands of new prospects as opposed to a limited rolodex of exhausted leads? What if you could improve both the volume and the quality of leads - would you agree in this value proposition - dedicating greater resources, your time and research efforts, to grow your networking efforts on behalf of your talent needs?

Building and Cultivating Customer Loyalty (for Recruiters)
Top Echelon Network LogoBy Mark Demaree,
President of Top Echelon Network

Are your client companies loyal to you?  How about your candidates?

Do you have to think about the answer to these questions?  If you do, there’s even more you should be thinking about.

You’re a sales person.  You sell opportunities and you sell talent.  And any successful sales person will tell you that if you’re customer base isn’t loyal, it won’t be profitable in the long run.  That’s because customers who aren’t loyal will shop somewhere else and they’ll buy somewhere else, and they won’t need much prompting in order to do so.

Sure, it’s not the 1950s anymore, and the concept of loyalty in business is nearly as antiquated as full-service gas stations, but there is good news.  You can absolutely, positively create and cultivate loyalty with everyone you deal with, from hiring managers to candidates to other recruiters, and you can benefit from that loyalty not just in 2008, but for many years to come.

So the question is . . . how do you do it?
